About Theoriq
What is Theoriq?+
Theoriq is an online platform that prepares you for the Dutch CBR theory exam (category B). You practise with exam simulations, theory by category, flashcards, and a personal study plan.
Are the questions like the real CBR exam?+
Yes. Our questions are based on the official 2026 CBR exam material. You practise with the same structure: 50 questions, 30 minutes, you need 44 correct to pass.
How long do I need to practise before the exam?+
Most learners are exam-ready after 2–3 weeks of daily practice (20–30 minutes a day). Your progress page shows exactly when you've reached exam level.
Can I practise on my phone?+
Absolutely. Theoriq works on phone, tablet and laptop. Practise wherever it suits you — on the train, on the couch, or during lunch.
What if I've already failed once?+
Then Theoriq is exactly what you need. Our mock exams show you where your weak spots are, so you can improve where it matters instead of starting over from scratch.

What does Theoriq cost?+
You can try Theoriq free for 2 days with full access to every feature. After the trial you pay €42 once for lifetime access. No recurring charges, no automatic debits.
Do I need a credit card?+
No. You don't need payment details for the free trial. After the trial you can pay via iDEAL or other common payment methods.
Can I cancel during the trial?+
Yes — you can cancel within the first 2 days at no cost from your profile page (Profile → Subscription). You won't be charged anything.
What happens after the trial?+
After 2 days you're asked to pay €42 once for lifetime access. If you don't pay, you keep access to the theory sections. Mock exams, flashcards, and the study plan will be disabled.
Is it really a one-time payment?+
Yes — €42 once. No monthly fees, no automatic renewals. You pay one time and then have permanent access to every feature.

How do I create an account?+
Click 'Start free' and enter your email and password. You can start practising within 30 seconds.
I forgot my password. What now?+
Go to the login page and click 'Forgot password'. You'll get an email with a link to set a new password.
Can I delete my account?+
Yes — email info@theoriq.nl and we'll delete your account and all associated data.
The Dutch CBR theory exam
How many questions does the CBR theory exam have?+
The Dutch CBR theory exam for car (category B) has 50 multiple-choice questions. You have 30 minutes and need at least 44 correct answers to pass.
Which topics are covered?+
The exam covers 6 categories: traffic rules and signs, hazard perception, vehicle knowledge, environment and economical driving, first aid, and special manoeuvres.
How much does the CBR theory exam cost?+
The Dutch CBR theory exam currently costs €47.50. You can book it via mijn.cbr.nl.
How often can I retake the exam?+
There's no limit on attempts. Just plan enough time to practise more between attempts.
